How payments work for mascot costume hire.
Credit & debit cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express — processed securely via Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
How the hire fee works
The hire fee is charged in full at the time of booking. This confirms your reservation and is non-refundable.
How the security bond works
The security bond is a temporary hold (not a charge) placed on your card 3 days before your pickup date. The funds remain in your account — they are just reserved. The hold is released automatically within 7 business days of your return, provided the costume is returned undamaged.
Note on Afterpay / Buy Now Pay Later
We do not currently support Afterpay or other BNPL services. All payments are processed via card through Stripe.
